SaveSky’s goal is to fund carbon removal through shopping rewards. We’re still building the program, and we want the promises to be as clear as the idea.
What we mean by carbon removal
Our focus is on activities that take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and store it. We intend to evaluate how it is measured, how long it is stored, and what evidence supports delivery before selecting providers.
What we intend to report
Removal funded
Money allocated or paid toward a named provider and method, with the terms explained.
Removal delivered
Documented delivery, reported separately from a purchase or commitment.
What is still being decided
Points rates and redemption values, the share of referral revenue used for removal, provider criteria, timing, and what happens to refunds and cancelled purchases. These will be settled and published before rewards beta begins.
Where we stand today
No carbon removal has been purchased or delivered through this early-access website. No points are being issued. We’re gathering interest and building the first partnerships.
Shopping is not a climate claim
SaveSky won’t describe a shopper, product, or purchase as carbon neutral based on participation. The aim is to support removal with clear records, while encouraging people to buy only what they need.
